Limitations and conditions

Limitations and conditions of services we offer:

1) Expressions Web Design installs Publii CMS as a default tool for managing a website and/or blog.  Publii CMS is a product of Tidy Systems.  We are in no way associated with the Publii CMS project or Tidy Systems.  

2) We work exclusivly with in the United States with a local emphasis on Kentucky, Indiana and Missouri.

3) All services to be rendered will be explicitly specified in a Statement of Work (SOW) which both parties will agree to.  Services listed in the chart above are typical and may or may not be part of the SOW agreed to.

4) Some themes and plugins offered by Publii CMS are premium and must be purchased by the client in addition to services rendered by Expressions Web Design (unless otherwise agreed to in an SOW).

5) Domains are the property of the client.  It is the clients responsibility to purchase and keep your domain current.  We will advise as to how to best choose a domain as well as manage it.

6) By default we set customer sites up on GitHub Pages.  That is the host of choice we recommend.  We offer Netlify as an alternative for clients who want forms support.  We will help you select alternate hosts however there may be some additional costs for the client associated with some hosts.

7) Setup of standard plugins will be done as needed by the theme or the customer's desired set of features.  They will be agreed upon and called out in the SOW.  Premium plugins can also be setup but may incur additional costs.  These will also be called out in the SOW.

8) Pages delivered will be as follows: About Us, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.  Additional pages will be created as the customer requests.  Depending on the service level selected some pages may cost extra to implement.  This will be spelled out in the SOW.

9) Extra services are billed on an hourly basis unless otherwise agreed to in the SOW.  The current hourly rate is $85 per hour.

10) Policy pages including the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Terms and Conditions are built using boilerplate text.  They are not validated for legal compliance.  You are encouraged to have a lawyer review and approve these policies.

11) This list of limitations and conditions is not exhaustive.  You SOW will detail what services you will be receiving and those that you have agreed not to purchase.
